Many credit card users may have already noticed that the monthly paper bank statements that arrive like clockwork are slowly fading out of their lives. Since 2014, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, and Bank of Communications have successively launched paperless reforms, cancelling the default mailing of paper statements. Recently, China Construction Bank also issued a notice about cancelling the paper statement service for Long Card credit cards, announcing that paper statements will stop being mailed starting from June 20th this year. This subtle adjustment to the everyday financial lives of ordinary people once again brings the banking industry's paperless reform into the public eye.
