Reporters recently visited the Jiangsu Provincial Medical Insurance Data Empowerment Laboratory to experience firsthand how Jiangsu's "digital intelligence brain" operates at high speed. "The provincial medical insurance platform settles 3.1 million people per day, totaling 1.13 billion times per year, with one third of them using facial recognition payments," said on-site staff. Since the laboratory was launched over a year ago, it has collected more than 30 years of standardized and standardized medical insurance historical data, continuously connecting nearly 50,000 designated medical institutions in the province in real time. According to reports, Jiangsu was the first to introduce the "Artificial Intelligence +" Healthcare Security Action Plan", indicating that by 2027, more than 50 intelligent entities will be established, forming a preliminary framework system for artificial intelligence to reconstruct medical insurance business. By 2030, artificial intelligence will be fully applied in all aspects of the medical insurance industry. This means that, with the support of artificial intelligence, medical bill settlements will be more convenient for the public, fund supervision will be safer, and drug prices will be more transparent.
