On June 5, it was learned from the Sichuan Immigration Inspection General Station that the number of inbound and outbound passengers served by the station has exceeded 3 million so far this year, an increase of 17.1% year-on-year, reaching this level 30 days earlier than last year and setting a new high for the same period in the past 6 years. There have been over 20,000 inbound and outbound flights, a 5% increase compared to last year. The station ranks first in terms of the number of inbound and outbound passengers and flights in the central and western regions' aviation ports open to the outside world, and fourth nationwide, following Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.
