A reporter visited multiple stores and found that currently, the sales volume of sports bicycles remains stable, while cycling equipment has become a new growth point. Helmets, gloves, and cycling jerseys with a sense of design are especially popular. Currently, there are a total of 1058 patents related to cycling equipment in China, with design and utility model patents accounting for 88.1%. The deputy general manager of Shenzhen Innovative Weiv Bicycle Co., Ltd. stated that the sales of folding bikes have increased significantly this year, with orders already booked until October. Folding bikes now account for more than half of the overall production capacity, and the biggest issue at the moment is insufficient production capacity. The company plans to expand production capacity by over 50% this year.
