The latest economic forecast released by the British Chamber of Commerce shows that the UK economy will continue to struggle with slow growth in 2026 and 2027, due to weak business investment, escalating inflation, and declining exports. In terms of business investment, the British Chamber of Commerce predicts that UK business investment will decline by 2.2% in 2026, with a slight recovery in 2027 but still a decrease of 0.1%.
