North Extension Emergency Water Supply Project of the Phase I of the Eastern Route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project completed the annual water supply task.

Reporters learned from the South-to-North Water Diversion Group in China that the emergency water supply project of the first phase of the Eastern Route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project will be completed in 2025-2026. As of May 31st, the project has supplied a total of 3.59 billion cubic meters of water to Hebei and Tianjin, and 1.77 billion cubic meters of water to the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, exceeding the annual water transfer plan.
