The Beijing Municipal Taxation Bureau announced that the first online departure tax refund shop in the country has officially landed in Beijing, and the first batch of centralized departure tax refund points in the hotel industry in Beijing have also been put into use simultaneously. After shopping online, overseas tourists can directly apply for tax refund at the hotel, further expanding the scope of departure tax refund services. Liu Li, director of the Second Tax Department of the Beijing Municipal Taxation Bureau of the State Administration of Taxation, stated that the first online departure tax refund shop in the country will expand the consumption tax refund scene from offline physical stores to online shopping platforms, allowing the policy dividends to be transformed into tangible tax refund convenience for overseas tourists. At the same time, we are also accelerating the promotion of "buy now, refund now" nationwide recognition, enabling overseas tourists to truly achieve "cross-regional departure, nationwide tax refund".
