China Mobile has launched a three-band ultra-low loss multi-core optical cable line.

Recently, the world's first ultra-low loss multi-core optical cable line with S+C+L three bands, independently designed by China Mobile in collaboration with industry partners, has been officially completed and opened in Qingdao, Shandong. Test data shows that the performance of this optical cable is superior to the current commercial level, with a transmission loss of only 0.189dB per kilometer, allowing for longer and more stable signal transmission. The crosstalk between fiber cores is less than -40dB/100km, with almost no interference in channels; and parameters such as dispersion and macro bending loss all meet commercial standards.
