On June 2nd, at the opening ceremony of the 19th International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy & Energy Storage and Battery Conference and Exhibition, Zhu Gongshan, Chairman of the XinXin Group, stated that the second half of the photovoltaic industry paradigm revolution is "space energy borrowed from the sky". He believes that if the first half of the photovoltaic industry paradigm revolution is the symbiosis of Watt and Bit, the second half is the dance of materials and aerospace. Specifically, energy collection will detach from the filtering of the atmosphere and the day-night cycle on the earth's surface, and conduct a closer photosynthesis in an almost ideal cosmic environment. Reusable rockets continue to lower launch costs, giant commercial constellations create economies of scale, and push space photovoltaics into the realm of engineering economics. Breakthroughs have been made in the verification of perovskite/stacking technology, with ongoing validation of engineering reliability, batch manufacturing, and system cost optimization. Once the radiation-resistant packaging passes inspection, it is expected to enter the space application sequence within five to ten years. In the future, the linear chain of "generation-transmission-distribution-use" is compressed into point-to-point energy delivery between heaven and earth. Space-based power stations achieve "wireless deployment", breaking geographical constraints and reaching remote bases, islands, and emergency nodes, eliminating the need for long-distance power transmission corridors. The synergy of computation and electricity reaches its peak in space, where energy is generated and used immediately, and computing power is produced instantly.
