Recently, a fine issued by the Shenzhen Market Supervision and Administration Bureau showed that Zhou Liu Fu Jewelry Co., Ltd. was fined 739.75 yuan and had 231.17 yuan of illegal proceeds confiscated for producing and selling substandard silver bracelets. On May 29th, the public account "Zhou Liu Fu Jewelry" published a statement on the testing of the silver bracelets, explaining that the surface testing method of GB/T18043-2013 was used for the random inspection, which only focuses on the surface of the jewelry and may be affected by factors such as oxidation and storage environment. Since only surface testing was conducted and not destructive testing, the company sent the same batch of products to the National Jewelry and Gemstone Quality Supervision and Inspection Center Co., Ltd. for destructive testing according to national standard GB 11887-2012, and the results were deemed satisfactory.
