Meta will launch an AI chatbot subscription service with a minimum monthly fee of $7.99.

Meta Platforms has started selling Meta AI chatbot subscription services to consumers for the first time, which is an important step for the company in establishing its artificial intelligence business and is expected to partially offset its expenditure in the AI field, which amounts to billions of dollars. The newly launched subscription service is divided into two tiers. A company spokesperson said that the basic tier, called Meta One Plus, is priced at $7.99 per month and is aimed at users who frequently use Meta AI to generate images and videos or rely on it for complex reasoning. The spokesperson also added that the higher tier, Meta One Premium, costs $19.99 per month and includes the same features as Meta One Plus but with higher usage limits. The Meta AI subscription service will first launch in Singapore, Guatemala, and Bolivia, and will later expand to more countries.
