The person in charge of the General Administration of Customs Animal and Plant Quarantine Department answered questions from reporters on the comprehensive implementation of quarantine access for coffee beans from African countries that have established diplomatic relations.
Starting from July 20, China will fully implement quarantine access to all coffee beans from African diplomatic countries. The person in charge of the General Administration of Customs' Plant Quarantine Department stated today that on May 20, the General Administration of Customs issued Announcement No. 68, allowing coffee beans from African diplomatic countries that meet the requirements to be imported into China. This is the second time after dried chili that agricultural products from African diplomatic countries have achieved comprehensive quarantine access. The General Administration of Customs will continue to implement upgraded "green channels" facilitation measures to help more high-quality and safe African agricultural products enter China, share development opportunities with African countries, and provide Chinese consumers with more diverse choices.
