Chinese biopharmaceutical company: Kylo-0603 has shown good safety and lipid-lowering effects in healthy volunteers.

The Chinese biopharmaceutical company announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Higea independently developed National Class 1 innovative drug Kylo-0603 will be presented at the 2026 European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) Annual Meeting. The Phase I clinical trial data in healthy subjects were announced. In a multiple-dose escalation study, 60 healthy participants were randomly assigned to receive daily doses of Kylo-0603 or placebo for 14 consecutive days. After stopping the medication, participants were followed up for an additional 7 days to evaluate safety. Kylo-0603 demonstrated good safety and lipid-lowering effects in this study.
