Russian Black Sea port attacked by Ukrainian drone catches fire.
Russian officials said that a fire broke out in the Russian Black Sea port of Tuaapshe after another night of drone attacks in Ukraine. Local authorities are still clearing the damage caused by multiple recent attacks along the coast. The emergency headquarters in the Krasnodar region said on Wednesday that a fire was started at a sea shipping dock in the Tuaapshe area by wreckage falling from a drone. Over 80 personnel and 25 pieces of equipment, including forces from the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry, were involved in extinguishing the fire. As the conflict in Iran pushes up oil prices, Ukraine is escalating attacks on Russian energy infrastructure in an effort to weaken the Kremlin's energy revenue. Tuaapshe has been targeted multiple times since early April. The area is home to one of Russia's largest Black Sea ports and a refinery owned by a Russian oil company.
