The China-Laos Railway transported over 100,000 tons of imported fruits this year.
Recently, it was learned from the China Railway Kunming Bureau Group Co., Ltd. that from January 1st to May 25th this year, the China-Laos Railway has transported a total of 107,900 tons of imported fruits, an increase of over 30% compared to the same period last year. Since the beginning of this year, the demand for durian, bananas, mangosteen, and other tropical fruits from Southeast Asian countries for export to China has remained strong. Since April, tropical fruits from Southeast Asia have been in peak season, with the daily import volume at the Manghan Station of the China-Laos Railway reaching a high of 3,665.1 tons.
