This morning, Beijing carried out the distribution of new energy small passenger car quotas for 2026. After the distribution, the Beijing Municipal Office for the Regulation of Small Passenger Car Quotas announced the list of households that qualified for new energy vehicle quota points this year. In this round of distribution, the highest score for households was 330 points, and the lowest was 36 points, with the qualifying "cut-off line" further decreased from last year's 42 points. In this round of distribution of new energy small passenger car quotas, there were over 320,000 applications from households without a car, and over 560,000 applications from individual new energy small passenger car quota applicants. There were 119,200 new energy small passenger car quotas for households and 34,800 for individuals in this round of distribution, including the additional 80,000 quotas for households and individuals. Looking at the allocation of new energy vehicle quotas for households in previous years, due to the large number of applicants and fierce competition, not all households that reach the qualifying line for points can obtain a quota in the same year. In cases where scores are the same, households are sorted based on the order of registration in the system of the earliest family member.
