Resist pseudo-science! The 2026 Internet Civilization Conference will crack down on and rectify online rumors.

The China Internet Civilization Conference will be held in Nanning, Guangxi from the 19th to the 20th of 2026. The conference includes a "Rumor Refutation Sub-Forum", where officials from the Central Cyberspace Administration's Illegal and Inappropriate Information Reporting Center introduced their efforts. It was reported on site by journalists that the Center will prioritize combating pseudo-science misinformation and has set up specific channels for reporting, in order to handle reports from internet users.
