The National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center has issued a warning report on the "Silver Fox" series of Trojan virus attacks targeted at Chinese users. Recently, the National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center and the National Engineering Laboratory for Computer Virus Prevention and Control captured multiple malicious programs containing keywords such as "internal investigation results," "disciplinary list," "disciplinary notice," and "layoff compensation" on the national computer virus collaborative analysis platform. These malicious programs are disguised as shortcuts, folders, document files, or compressed files, but are actually remote control Trojan viruses targeting Windows platform users. Analysis shows that these Trojan viruses are all the latest variants of the "Silver Fox" (also known as "Youse," "Valley Thief," "UTG-Q-1000," "Silver Fox," etc.) Trojan virus attacks targeted at Chinese users. If users inadvertently run the malicious program files, the attackers will carry out remote control, theft of information, and other malicious operations, and they may be used by cybercriminals as a "springboard" to further carry out telecommunications network fraud activities.
