Survey shows that 40% of the founders of startups in Germany are under 30 years old.
A recent survey shows that the group of entrepreneurs in Germany is becoming younger: by 2025, as many as 40% of founders of start-up companies in Germany are under the age of 30; in 2005, this figure was 24%. An analysis report released by the German Reconstruction Credit Bank on the 19th showed that by 2025, the average age of founders of start-up companies in Germany will be 34.2 years, slightly lower than the previous year's 34.4 years; in 2001, this figure was 37 to 38 years. The report shows that more than one-fifth of founders under the age of 30 started their own businesses during their university years.
