According to undercover reporters, several well-known chain hotels in Guangdong have not implemented the policy of changing bed linens for each guest, including Hilton Hampton, Vienna, City Convenience, and Lai Fung hotels. Through marking with fluorescent markers, undercover personnel found that several of these hotels had not replaced bed sheets, pillowcases, towels, or glassware. None of the bath linens were completely changed, and only one hotel changed the pillowcases. In Hilton Hampton hotel, both the used and unused beds had not changed their bed sheets and pillowcases, and even towels that appeared unused were not replaced. In the Vienna hotel, bed sheets and pillowcases were not changed, and there were unwiped glassware present.
