The ChiNext Index has returned to 4000 points for the first time in nearly 11 years.

The ChiNext Index broke through the 4000 point mark, reaching a new high since June 8, 2015, with a total increase of over 24% so far this year. The Shenzhen Component Index rose by over 1% to near 16000 points, while the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.3%. The diamond cultivation, storage chip, and computing power leasing sectors led the gains. Over 3100 stocks in the entire market saw an increase.
