The Shenzhen Municipal Transportation Bureau solicits opinions on the "15th Five-Year Plan for Comprehensive Transportation in Shenzhen", which proposes to build a sea transport network connecting the domestic and international regions, continuously consolidate the advantages of Europe and America ocean shipping routes, expand shipping routes in the APEC region and countries participating in the "Belt and Road" initiative. Deepen strategic cooperation with major shipping companies, vigorously develop water-to-water transfers, car shipping, international transit aggregation and other businesses, vigorously expand domestic trade and near-ocean routes, promote a simultaneous increase in the quantity and quality of domestic container traffic, and by 2030, the container throughput of the port will reach 38 million TEUs.
