The Emergency Management University plans to establish a Fireworks and Firecracker Explosion Prevention Major to fill the talent shortage gap in the country.
On May 11th, on the occasion of the 18th National Disaster Prevention and Reduction Day, Hong Li, Vice President of the Emergency Management University, revealed during the themed event "Empowering Safety with Technology, Education Safeguarding Lives" that in order to address the shortage of explosion-proof talents in the fireworks and firecrackers field, the university has cooperated with related universities to jointly establish a specialized major in fireworks and firecrackers safety. Leveraging the advantages of both disciplines and resources, the university aims to fill the gap in the talent pool of this field.
