According to the WeChat Finance APP, informed sources revealed that Sony Music (SONY.US) is in negotiations with Blackstone Group to finalize a deal to acquire the music catalog that includes works by artists such as Justin Bieber and Neil Young. If the deal is successful, it will be one of the largest copyright acquisitions in music history.
