Thanks to the large investments in artificial intelligence computing by technology companies, the adoption rate of Arm (ARM.O) chip technology continues to increase. The company predicted on Wednesday that its first quarter revenue will be $1.26 billion, higher than the market expectation of $1.25 billion. Arm CEO Rene Haas said, "We are very optimistic about the demand for data centers," and added that "there has been a significant growth in data center-related patent usage fees this quarter." Earlier this year, Arm released the AGI CPU, a data center chip designed to handle the large data calculations required for specific types of AI. The company also stated on Wednesday that they have secured customer demand worth $2 billion for this processor in the 2027 and 2028 fiscal years.
