On April 27, the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Liunan District, Liuzhou City, Guangxi Province, issued a situation report: On April 27, 2026, false information appeared online that the "Liuzhou Hutong No. 7 Hotel" in the jurisdiction is deceiving consumers by falsely claiming reasons to cancel room reservations and then significantly increasing room rates. After preliminary verification, the hotel is suspected of violating the "Price Law of the People's Republic of China" and related laws and regulations on clear pricing and prohibition of price fraud. The case has been filed for investigation, and will be dealt with seriously in accordance with the law and regulations.
