Prominent analysts say that Qualcomm is collaborating with OpenAI to develop intelligent smartphones, with Luxshare Precision also participating.

Qualcomm's stock price surged on Monday, with a highly followed technology industry analyst pointing out that the chip maker is working with artificial intelligence giant OpenAI on smartphones. Qualcomm's stock price rose by 8.2% at one point, but later gave back some of the gains. As of the time of writing, the stock is up 0.1%. Tianfeng International Securities analyst Guo Mingchi posted on X that his latest industry research shows that OpenAI is collaborating with MediaTek and Qualcomm on developing smartphone processors. Guo Mingchi added that Luxshare Precision serves as the "exclusive system joint design and manufacturing partner."
