On April 27, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment held its regular press conference for April. Zhang Dawei, director of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment's Ecological Environment Monitoring Department, stated that in recent years, taking the opportunity of technological system reform, they have promoted the deep integration of new technologies and monitoring business, moving away from simple superposition. Firstly, they emphasize application orientation and deepen organized research and development. Focusing on the major special project "Perception Network" in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, they are doing well in dual-line command, targeted demolition, and collaborative efforts. Secondly, they focus on technological breakthroughs and strive to create landmark achievements. Currently, over 50 key technologies have made progress in stages, with a focus on intelligent unmanned, new sensing, and autonomous controllable directions in technology equipment, and on the dimensions of "seeing" and "calculating" in model algorithms. Thirdly, bridging the gap between industry, academia, research, and application to overcome the "last mile". Technological achievements should not only stay in the laboratory but must be implemented in business applications. They aim to establish a good pilot verification platform, utilize policy combinations effectively, and open up a standard express lane.
