Recently, the National Supercomputing Shenzhen Center held a meeting on the integration of domestically produced computing power applications and the global model sites release in Shenzhen. The conference officially launched the National Supercomputing Shenzhen Center's global model sites, introduced the progress of the construction of the domestically produced E-grade supercomputer system "Lingsheng", and concentrated on showcasing joint innovations in nine major areas including remote sensing, materials, bioinformatics, meteorology, drugs, petroleum exploration, AI, life sciences, and electromagnetic simulation. This marks a significant progress in China's independent innovation in domestically produced supercomputers, injecting strong computing power momentum into the self-reliance and innovation development of science and technology in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The responsible person from Shenzhen's Bureau of Science and Technology Innovation stated that the "Lingsheng" domestically produced E-grade supercomputing system has been fully activated and has completed all-machine testing, representing a landmark achievement in China's high-end computing field with full-stack independence and controllability. Shenzhen is actively implementing the Power Strong Foundation Action, constructing a globally leading integrated system of "general computing power + intelligent computing power + supercomputing power".
