The German Defense Minister said he will deploy a minesweeper to the Mediterranean Sea.
According to German media reports on the 25th, German Defense Minister Pistoleer said that Germany will send a minesweeper to the Mediterranean Sea and equip it with a command supply ship in preparation for possible missions in the Strait of Hormuz. Pistoleer told the German newspaper Rheinische Post that Germany can only carry out operations in the region if they have authorization from the Federal Parliament. To save time, Germany has decided to advance some of its troops to the Mediterranean Sea so that they do not waste time after the authorization resolution is passed. Pistoleer said that the German Navy is very good at detecting and clearing mines, and this operation will mainly focus on this capability.
