New home transactions in Guangzhou soared month-on-month, leading the way among first-tier cities.

Since the beginning of this year, the real estate market in Guangzhou has shown clear signs of warming up, with new housing prices and sales volume rising simultaneously in March, and the trend continuing into April. According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, the sales price of new houses in Guangzhou increased by 0.3% in March compared to the previous month, with a total of 7,059 new houses signed in the city, representing a 241% increase month-on-month and a 26.67% increase year-on-year, leading in terms of sales volume and price among first-tier cities. In April, the Guangzhou market maintained a steady and upward trend, with agency monitoring showing a 5.4% increase in new housing transactions in mid-April. In terms of regional performance, Tianhe District, as the core of the main city of Guangzhou, is leading in terms of transaction volume. In March, the number of new housing transactions in Tianhe District increased by more than 500% compared to the previous month, ranking first among the 11 districts in the city and becoming the strongest support for the current "small spring" in the Guangzhou property market. The inventory turnover period of core regional areas continues to shorten, improved demand is concentrated and released, and multiple high-quality projects are experiencing strong sales.
