Summary of Enforcement by the China Securities Regulatory Commission in 2025. In 2025, the CSRC handled a total of 701 cases of illegal activities. In terms of the types of cases, there were 200 cases of violations in information disclosure, 77 cases involving intermediary institutions, 218 cases of insider trading, 85 cases of market manipulation, 26 cases of illegal activities in private equity funds, and 51 cases of violations by industry personnel. Looking at the trends, there was a decrease in violations by companies and institutions while an increase in trading-related violations. With the comprehensive prevention and punishment system for financial fraud by listed companies gradually being implemented, the market environment has significantly improved. The number of cases related to violations in information disclosure decreased by 19.68% compared to the previous year, and the number of cases involving intermediary institutions decreased by 18.95%. However, with increased trading activities, there was an increase in trading-related violations, with insider trading cases increasing by 22.47% and market manipulation cases increasing by 19.72% compared to the previous year.
