Maritime Silk Road Index: Differentiation in route freight rates, comprehensive index slightly declines.
The Ningbo Export Container Freight Index released by the Ningbo Shipping Exchange closed at 1338.3 points, down 1.1% from the previous week. Among the 21 routes, 11 routes saw an increase in freight rates, 9 routes saw a decrease, and 1 route remained relatively stable. Among the main ports along the "Maritime Silk Road," 11 ports saw an increase in freight rates, 4 ports saw a decrease, and 1 port remained relatively stable. The freight index for European routes was 964.4 points, down 6.1% from the previous week; the Southeast Asian route freight index was 1089.9 points, down 0.2% from the previous week; the South American route freight index was 1398.5 points, down 4.1% from the previous week. The freight index for the US East Coast route was 1277.4 points, up 1.4% from the previous week; the US West Coast route freight index was 1598.2 points, up 0.6% from the previous week. The Middle East route freight index was 4184.9 points, up 0.5% from the previous week.
