Korean Air will raise the international flight fuel surcharge starting from May 1st.
Korean Air stated that it will increase the fuel surcharge for international flights departing from Korea in May. The fuel surcharge for short-haul flights to destinations like Fukuoka and Qingdao will be increased from 42,000 Korean won to 75,000 Korean won. The surcharge for long-haul flights to cities like New York, Boston, and Toronto will be increased from 303,000 Korean won to 564,000 Korean won. The increased surcharges will apply to tickets issued from May 1st to 31st.
