Gree's CMO, Zhu Lei, once again criticized Hisense: pretending to be confused when you understand, researching and advocating for "aluminum replacing copper" are two different things.

Yesterday, Geli CMO Zhu Lei questioned Hisense's "real copper and solid material" marketing campaign for plagiarizing Geli's creativity, and was immediately refuted by Hisense executives as "playing both sides". Today, Zhu Lei responded with, "This statement is too harsh. What was mentioned online is that Geli joined the 'Air Conditioning Aluminum Reinforcement Application Research Working Group' established by the China Household Electrical Appliances Research Institute at the end of last year. This is different from the initiative led by 19 companies to promote the 'aluminum replacing copper'."
