Pakistan says Saudi Arabia has promised to deposit an additional $3 billion.

Pakistan's Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb stated that Saudi Arabia has promised to make additional deposits, "it is expected that the funds will be transferred in the next week." The existing $5 billion Saudi deposit will no longer be restricted by the previous annual rollover arrangements and the rollover period will be extended.
