The 139th Canton Fair opens today, with a 20% increase in pre-registered overseas buyers compared to last year.

On April 15, the 139th China Import and Export Fair officially opened in Guangzhou, with the event scheduled to run until May 5, divided into three phases. As of April 9, this session of the Canton Fair had already attracted over 210,000 overseas buyers who pre-registered, a 20% increase compared to the previous year, with an increase in both the scale and quality of buyers. The total exhibition area of this session of the Canton Fair reached 1.55 million square meters, with a total of 75,700 booths and over 32,000 participating companies, all exceeding previous levels. Among them, approximately 3,900 companies made their debut, the number of product zones increased to 179, and new special zones such as smart wearables, display technology, and consumer-grade drones were added for the first time, while also expanding exhibition areas for electronic consumer goods, new materials, and highlighting the development achievements of new quality production forces in the field of foreign trade.
