A spokesperson for the US Central Command said on the 14th that nearly 400 people have been injured in combat since the US launched a large-scale military operation against Iran at the end of February. The US CBS News quoted the spokesperson as saying that as of that day, the number of US military casualties was 399, with 354 of them already back on duty. Currently, there are still 3 people listed as seriously injured. Two weeks ago, the Central Command said that 348 US military personnel had been injured, with 315 already back on duty and 6 seriously injured. The spokesperson explained that the increase in the number of casualties was due to the delayed appearance of traumatic brain injury symptoms in some personnel, as well as delays in related injury reports. The US military said that the current number of US military deaths is still 13. Among them, 6 died in an Iranian attack on a US military base in Kuwait; 1 died in Saudi Arabia after being injured; and 6 died in the crash of a US military refueling aircraft in Iraq.
