The new transportation route for combined sea and rail from Baoding has successfully shipped a total of 5200 tons of goods.

According to Baoding Daily, data from the Baoding Municipal Bureau of Commerce shows that since the first shipment of goods under the new customs supervision mode of sea-rail intermodal transportation started on March 23, the Jing-Xiong Bao International Smart Port has sent a total of 275 TEU and 5200 tons of goods, worth 5.95 million US dollars. The logistics cost has been reduced by 12% compared to the highway, the time has been shortened by 3 days, and the damage rate has decreased from 0.8% to 0.05%.
