The meeting required the following key tasks to be implemented in the near future. Firstly, further improve the legal system of government procurement, and make every effort to promote the revision of government procurement laws and supporting regulations. Secondly, further enhance the role of government procurement in promoting the construction of a modern industrial system, increase support for technological innovation, green transformation, the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, and the revitalization of rural industries. Thirdly, further promote the construction of a unified national market, promote the implementation of national product standards, deepen special rectification of illegal and irregular behaviors, strengthen the supervision of online shopping malls, and ensure equal participation of various types of business entities in government procurement. Fourth, further improve the digitization level of government procurement, optimize the electronic management platform for government procurement, promote smart transactions and smart supervision, and standardize the application of artificial intelligence. Fifth, further strengthen the basic management of government procurement, and promote the linkage between budget and procurement management. Sixth, further promote the opening of the government procurement market, accelerate the process of joining the World Trade Organization's "Government Procurement Agreement", and continue to expand institutional openness.
