On the afternoon of April 12th, during the high-level forum on the development of intelligent electric vehicles, She Shidong, Deputy General Manager of Intelligent Products at Great Wall Motors, had a dialogue with the media. Regarding the progress of Great Wall Motors' self-developed intelligent driving solutions, he stated that the company's strategy is layered self-development + open collaboration: flagship models will continue to be deeply self-developed, as the end-to-end experience requires involvement of steering structure, power chassis, and other actuators in model training. The industry is still in its early stages; mass-market models will be completely replaced by self-developed solutions, capable of good performance in high-speed scenarios and usable in basic scenarios; mid-range models will still be open to accepting high-quality industry solutions, complementing self-developed solutions. Overall, it is not a complete replacement of suppliers, but a gradual penetration.
