From the perspective of dividend distribution in annual reports, this year's listed companies show four main characteristics: Firstly, the leading companies in industries such as banking, insurance, and petroleum are the main force in dividend distribution in A-shares, with large dividend amounts frequently seen, and more than 20 listed companies have dividend amounts exceeding 10 billion yuan; Secondly, an increasing number of technology and innovation companies are joining the ranks of dividend distribution, becoming a new force that cannot be ignored, with more than half of the companies on the Science and Technology Innovation Board having a dividend ratio of over 30%; Thirdly, dividend distribution is gradually becoming a key aspect of corporate governance for listed companies, with many companies announcing medium to long-term dividend plans, clearly stating their expectations, and disclosing proposed dividend ratios and frequencies; Fourthly, the pace of dividend distribution by listed companies is accelerating, with over 40% of the listed companies that have disclosed cash dividend plans planning to distribute dividends multiple times within 2025. The proportion of companies distributing dividends multiple times in 2024 was 33%, showing a significant increase in the number of companies distributing dividends multiple times, indicating that annual multiple dividend distributions are moving from being a minority practice to becoming a normalized practice.
