Insiders revealed that Apple's first foldable screen phone is expected to be unveiled later this year, possibly alongside the regular iPhone release period, easing concerns about manufacturing delays. Insiders said the company plans to release this foldable screen model in September, along with the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. Apple's phones typically go on sale one week after their release. Earlier reports suggested that Apple faced challenges during the engineering testing phase of the phone, which could delay production and shipping plans. Insiders said that although the complexity of the new display screen and materials may initially constrain supply in the first few weeks, Apple still plans to launch the device at around the same time as the new non-foldable models, or shortly after. Apple's stock price decline has narrowed. As of the time of the report, Apple's stock price fell by about 2.7% to $251.88. However, with six months to go until the release, production capacity still needs to ramp up. This means that the final schedule has not yet been determined.
