Our country's deepest offshore wind power project will be fully connected to the grid and generate electricity today.
The country's deepest offshore wind power project, the Huadian Shandong Peninsula North Offshore Wind Farm, will fully connect to the grid and generate electricity today, marking a new breakthrough in China's commercial offshore wind power in deep-sea areas. The Huadian Shandong Peninsula North Wind Farm has a total installed capacity of 504,000 kilowatts, with the center of the site located about 70 kilometers offshore at a water depth of 52 to 56 meters. The project innovatively applies a four-pile jacket foundation structure, with a maximum height of 83.9 meters, the highest of its kind in China, effectively ensuring the safe and stable operation of wind turbines in complex geological environments in deep-sea areas.
