Journalists have learned from the Beijing Financial Regulatory Bureau that Beijing has launched the development and application of commercial insurance for intelligent connected new energy vehicles. For L2-level advanced driving assistance vehicles, owners in Beijing can choose to purchase exclusive products or existing car insurance products after purchasing a new car, with the Beijing Insurance Industry Association announcing in batches the applicable car manufacturers and models for exclusive products. For L3 and L4-level autonomous driving vehicles, exclusive products can be used for vehicles in Beijing that are legally testing or have obtained official road access qualifications, and the relevant exclusive products will be implemented as soon as conditions are ripe.
