Shanghai introduces "Ten Rules for Gaming in Shanghai", aiming to target global gaming and e-sports discourse power.

Shanghai has officially launched ten measures to support the development of the gaming esports industry, referred to as the "Shanghai Gaming Ten Measures." Centered around ten key areas such as industry clustering, overseas services, and technology empowerment, a comprehensive package of systematic support policies has been introduced. The policy specifies the core functional areas of Xuhui Caoheding and Xian, Yangpu Dachuangzhi and Binjiang, and Jing'an Daning and Shibei, to build gaming esports industry clusters with global influence. Support of up to 5 million yuan is provided each year. As soon as the policy was introduced, these three regions quickly followed up by releasing supporting detailed rules, especially for enterprise clustering, original games, and major industry projects, providing up to 30 million yuan in subsidies.
