On the 3rd local time, Iran released footage of the moment an anti-aircraft missile hit a U.S. A-10 attack aircraft. The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that their anti-aircraft units had shot down 1 fighter jet and 5 other aircraft from the United States and Israel in recent operations. The announcement stated that Iran used domestically produced advanced anti-aircraft systems to intercept 2 cruise missiles over Homs and Zanjan, shot down 2 American MQ-9 "Reaper" drones in Isfahan, shot down 1 "Hermes" drone in Bushehr, and destroyed 1 advanced fighter aircraft in central region. Iran emphasized that with continuously upgraded monitoring and defense capabilities, Iranian airspace will become a dangerous no-fly zone for aggressors.
