Ten departments: Artificial intelligence products and services should take comprehensive measures to ensure that privacy data is effectively protected.

Notice of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and ten other departments on the issuance of the "Ethical Review and Service Measures for Artificial Intelligence Technology". It proposes criteria for the selection of training data, the design of algorithms, models, and systems in terms of fairness and justice; whether measures are taken to prevent bias, discrimination, algorithm exploitation, and to ensure the objectivity and inclusiveness of resource allocation, opportunity acquisition, and decision-making processes. In terms of transparency and interpretability, it suggests disclosing the purpose, operational logic, interaction methods, potential risks, etc. of algorithms, models, and systems; using effective technical means to enhance their interpretability. As for privacy protection, it highlights the need for adequate measures to ensure the effective protection of privacy data in the collection, storage, processing, use of data, and research and development of new data technologies.
