The Bank of China has deployed the country's first batch of complete process automatic tax refund self-service machines for departing passengers.
Overseas tourists shopping in Shenzhen no longer need to wait for tax refunds when leaving the country - a convenient upgrade to the tax refund process is now being implemented across multiple scenarios. Under the guidance of the Shenzhen Tax Bureau of the State Administration of Taxation and the Shenzhen Branch of the People's Bank of China, Bank of China has upgraded its departure tax refund services and installed the first batch of national full-scenario departure tax refund self-service machines at Shenzhen Luohu Port and Bao'an International Airport. These self-service machines, independently developed and launched by the Bank of China's Shenzhen Branch, mark the official entry of overseas tourists' departure tax refunds into a self-service era with faster processing and more options.
