Hainan's off-island duty-free "buy now, collect now" and "guarantee, collect now" policies have been implemented for three years with shopping amounts exceeding 10 billion yuan.

According to statistics from Haikou Customs, in the three years since the implementation of the duty-free "buy now, pick up now" and "guaranteed pick up" policies in Hainan's outlying islands, the total amount of shopping through the "buy now, pick up now" method was 10.91 billion RMB, with a total of 11.69 million items purchased and 5.33 million people shopping. The total amount of shopping through the "guaranteed pick up" method was 177 million RMB, with 1,670 items purchased and 1,664 people shopping.
